Somali Laws and Decrees were published under the following denominations:

 Ø “Bollettino Ufficiale” of Italian Somalia,  edited by the Italian Government in Somalia;

Ø “Gazzetta della Somalia” was issued by the B.A.S. (British Administration Somalia), that beginning with the publication of No.1 on July 4^th 1941, and  ended  with No.5 on March 15^th 1950. The proclaim of the B.A.S. related to Somaliland, were promulgated in  Nairobi before July 4^th 1941, and were subsequently brought in the “Gazzetta della Somalia”;

Ø “Bollettino Ufficiale” was issued by the A.F.I.S. (Amministrazione Fiduciaria Italiana della Somalia) that beginning  the publications with No.1 on April 1^st  1950 and ended with the Supplement No.1 to the No.5 of May 7 1960; 

Ø  The legislation of the  Protectorate of the Somaliland  are contained in the “The Somaliland Protectorate Gazette”, that are the collection of  all ordinances, laws and rules, and  has stopped the publications the July 1^st  1960; 

Ø  With D.L. 2 January 1957 No.1 has been established the “Bollettino Ufficiale della Somalia”, issued by the Government of Somalia, that beginning with  the publication  No.1 in date January 2^nd  1957 and finish with the Supplement No.4 on January 25^th  1960; 

Ø  With the L.23 Maggio 1961, No. 15 (B.U. Suppl. No.2 to the No.5 of May 25^th 1961). The “Bollettino Ufficiale” assumed the new denomination of “Bollettino Ufficiale della Repubblica Somala”. The publications had beginning with the n.1 (Constitution) on July 1^st 1960.

Ø  With a norm of the D.P.C.R.S. (Decreto del Presidente del Consiglio Rivoluzionario Supremo) on October 21 1969 n.0s (B.U. n.1 of October 21^st 1969) the bulletin has assumed the denomination of “Bollettino Ufficiale della Repubblica Democratica Somala”, it edits from the “Stamperia dello Stato” in Mogadishu.

Ø From January 21^st  1973 the “Bollettino Ufficiale della Repubblica Democratica Somala” assumes the denomination of"Faafin Rasmi ah ee Jamhuuriyadda Dimuqraadiga Soomaaliya”
